Lathyrus improvement for resistance against biotic and abiotic stresses: From classical breeding to marker assisted selection

Abstract: Several Lathyrus species and in particular Lathyrus sativus (grass pea) have great agronomic potential as grain and forage legume, especially in drought conditions.
