Laparoscopic vs Open Colectomy

Abstract: Hypothesis: Laparoscopic colectomy has significant advantages over open colectomy in the treatment of diverticular disease with respect to the length of hospital stay, routine hospital discharge, and postoperative morbidity and mortality.
