Laparoscopic Versus Open Appendicectomy in the Management of Complicated Appendicitis

Abstract: Background: Laparoscopic appendicectomy (LA) is the preferred approach in uncomplicated appendicitis. However, in patients with complicated appendicitis (CA), the best approach is still unclear.
