When mandelonitrile, amygdalin or amygdalin are added to HepG2 cells at a concentration range of 1-100 µM, the cyanide generation rates are in the range of 0.1-0.2 nmoles/mg/protein/h, which is comparable to the endogenous generation rates of cyanide in these cells.…”
