“…The goal of the Cultural Cooperation Agreement is to facilitate the setting up of "cross-community" cultural projects, as such transcending the existence of the distinct cultural policies of the communities, and instead developing cultural activities for the entire Brussels population [cf. Lowies and Schrobiltgen, 2016]. An example of a collaboration which does not solely focus on culture is the Beliris Cooperation Agreement 22 , "which concerns certain initiatives intended to promote the international role and function of the capital of Brussels".…”
