As stated by Noumavo et al ( 2022 ), the presence of molds and yeasts in food should not be disregarded because many of them, in particular mycotoxinogenic molds (aflatoxins, ochratoxins, and fumonisins production), can be harmful to human health when consumed in large quantities.
