Abstract: EinleitungVor dem Hintergrund des demographischen Wandels steigt die Inzidenz der proximalen Humerusfraktur [20,32]. Während die Fraktur beim jüngeren Patienten mit guter Knochenqualität selten Probleme bereitet, sind konservative und operative Behandlung beim älte-ren Patienten mit reduzierter Knochenqualität und komplexem Frakturtyp anspruchsvoller.
