Keratosis Blennorrhagica

Abstract: joint, as previously reported by Shands.11 This author, in studying the synovial fluid from ten Charcot joints, found streptococci in two knees and Staphylococcus aureus in one shoulder. In our series of six joints on which operations were performed, culture of material obtained at operation from one knee yielded a mixture of hemolytic streptococcus and Staphylococcus aureus.In this case the operative wound suppurated and the joint failed to fuse.
