Abstract: Karbonmonoksit (CO), tam olmayan yanma ürünü olarak oluşan renksiz, kokusuz, havadan hafif ve irritan olmayan bir gazdır. Bu gaz ile zehirlenmeye, genellikle bacası uygun olmayan sobalar veya kapalı ortamda yakılan mangal gibi ısıtıcılara bağlı olarak kış aylarında rastlanır. CO zehirlenmesi ciddi seyreden bir durum olup, ölüm ya da ağır nörolojik bozukluklarla sonuçlanabilir.
