Abstract:INTRODUCTION: Acetic Acid Bacteria (AAB) are rod shaped, aerobic and gram-negative bacteria. They have ability to oxidize ethanol to acetic acid. They are widely distributed in natural habitats and classified into the family acetobacteraceae.
