Is there any association between Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and thyroid cancer? A retrospective data analysis

Abstract: ObjectiveTo evaluate the association between Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) and papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC).Materials and MethodsThe patients were evaluated by ultrasonography-guided fine needle aspiration cytology.
