Iron nanotube-silica composite (ZVI-S-PCAT modified silica composite) preparation, characterization and application as a recyclable catalytic system for 5-membered ring organic transformations

Abstract: Iron nanotube silica composite have been synthesized and studied through particle-size analysis, FTIR, SEM-EDX, TEM, XRD, UV, VSM, TGA-DTA and XPS techniques. The application of nanoframeworks as sustainable recyclable catalytic systems has been observed for azole cyclic ring organic transformations.
