Investigation of Magnetic Entropy Change in Intermetallic Compounds SmNi3−xFex Based on Maxwell Relation and Phenomenological Model

Abstract: In this study, we investigate the crystal structure, magnetic, and magnetocaloric effect properties in the intermetallic compounds SmNi3−xFex using a phenomenological model based on Landau mean-field theory and Maxwell relation (conventional method).
