Inverted Papilloma in a 10-Year-Old Boy

Abstract: \s=b\Inverted nasal papillomas are rare tumors in children. Four large series include only a single patient (of a total of 269) younger than 20 years. We report the occurrence of an inverted nasal papilloma in a 10-year-old boy; this tumor exhibited clinical and histopathologic features identical to those of similar neoplasms in adults. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
