Invasores à vista: uma abordagem biocultural sobre a violência durante a era dos pukaras no oásis atacamenho

Abstract: ResumoUma amostra esquelética de 33 indivídu-os proveniente do cemitério pré-colombiano Quitor-6 foi analisada para traumas agudos associados à violência. Este sítio, locali zado em San Pedro de Atacam a, Chile, está associado ao período posterior à influência de Tiwanaku na área andina. “…Understanding the development of past population studies in Brazil is a key factor in comprehending why only in recent years there has been an increase in publications and research on human remains. Many of the recent publications share an academic lineage, which highlights the contribution of Sheila Mendonça de Souza and her former students, namely Claudia Rodrigues‐Carvalho and Andrea Lessa (Lessa & Mendonça de Souza, ; Rodrigues‐Carvalho et al ., , to name a few published articles).
