The lung was the most common site of infection, followed by the sinuses, as has been observed in other series (11, 13, 14). This is of relevance to the investigation of patients with suspected aspergillosis: patients with normal CT scans of their sinuses and chest have a low likelihood of aspergillosis, thereby potentially influencing choice of empiric antifungal therapy.…”
