Abstract: A 65-year-old male was admitted for progressive lower back pain. The preoperative revealed an osteolytic expansile mass with a sclerotic margin involving the right lamina and pedicle of L2. The histopathology revealed an ancient schwannoma. We report a rare case of an intraosseous ancient schwannoma involving lumbar vertebra along with its imaging findings and surgical aspects.
