Abstract: Post-traumatic leptomeningeal cysts involving the occipital bone are intraosseous lesions which do not erode through the outer table, in contradistinction to leptomeningeal cysts elsewhere in the calvaria. In two of four reported cases, communicating hydrocephalus was associated with the intraosseous cyst.
