Abstract: In this work, we focused on the interpretation on a nonclassical crystallization route of Na x Mn[Fe(CN)6] y ·nH2O (0 < x < 2, 0 < y < 1, MnHCF) nanocrystal preparation via a bottom-up approach. Combining explosive homogeneous nucleation in the microreactor and subsequent crystal growth in the microtube, we carefully studied the dynamic behaviors of MnHCF crystallization under a high time resolution and found that in the early growth stage, it went through a rapid transition of morphology and crystal structu… Show more

“…21 Likewise, certain PBAs exhibit tilts despite a high vacancy concentration, like Na 1.10 Mn[Fe(CN) 6 ] 0.77 . 22 Thus, vacancies alone do not appear to play a major role in the tilting; however, this may be system-dependent and further studies are encouraged.…”

“…As already mentioned, quantification of the [M′(CN) 6 ] n− vacancy content is critical for PBAs applied as electrodes in battery applications. If different transition metals occupy the M and M' sites, this information can be extracted from cation ratios via methods such as inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) (Xi and Lu 2021). However, in the case of A x Fe[Fe(CN) 6 ], the exact composition becomes more ambiguous.…”

“…The crystallization process is controlled by mixing/mass transfer due to the characteristic time of molecular mixing in traditional reactors. Nucleation and growth are the two stages of the liquid-phase reactive crystallization process . Nucleation is critical, and concentration distribution regularity impacts the nucleation rate.…”
