“…24 Efforts are currently underway to develop a core outcome set (COS) in pulmonary rehabilitation for people with COPD, following a systematic review demonstrating high heterogeneity. 25 While there will likely be commonalities in outcomes of importance for people with COPD or lung cancer, differences between the two diagnoses means a disease-specific approach, which includes a set of core outcomes and valid measurement instruments for people with lung cancer is also required.
