Going into a nursing home can turn out to be a critical life experience if elderly people are afraid of losing their independence and identity after having moved into a nursing home. In order to find out what nursing home residents need in their first year after having moved into a nursing home to maintain their identity and self-determination, 20 problem-orientated interviews with residents of three nursing homes in the Austrian province of Salzburg were conducted and analysed based on content analysis according to Mayring. The participants of this study resist against having decisions taken away from them and fight for their independence and identity. In order to be able to cope with these strains, they need the help of family members, professionals, and identity-forming conversations in new social networks in the nursing home. The study participants draw enough strength from their faith in order to fight for their independence. They develop a new identity close to their previous identity by maintaining autonomy and mobility with a clear focus on the future.

Prevention of violence is one of the major social responsibilities of the twentyfirst century, requiring effective preventative measures at many levels. Music as a non-verbal and emotive medium provides general and specific means for promoting aggression regulation, social integration and empowerment. Different music 66 active participation improvisation conflict resolution Community Music Therapy therapeutic procedures seem to be useful and the ideas of Community Music Therapy can expand the methodical approaches in German Music Therapy. This article presents a specific music therapy programme for the prevention of violence in school classes, which has been scientifically elaborated upon over the past few years in Germany. After describing the programme, called DrumPower, the article will conclude with the question as to what extent the different approaches can be useful to each other in the future.

Zusammenfassung: Bei echten Hochstaplern handelt sich um Menschen, die sich akademische Grade erschwindeln. Im Gegensatz dazu sind die Qualifi kationen bei denen, die unter dem Hochstaplersyndrom leiden, faktisch und rechtmäßig erworben. Trotzdem fühlen sie sich ihrer Zertifi kate nicht würdig und haben Angst vor der "Entlarvung", wie minderwertig sie sich fühlen. Nach der Zusammenfassung psychologischer Erkenntnisse wird anhand verschiedener Aspekte dargestellt, inwiefern das Hochstaplersyndrom im Hochschulsystem auf nährreichen Boden fällt oder warum viele Wissenschaftler/innen sich oft wie Hochstapler fühlen (müssen). Es folgen Vorschläge, was dies für das Coaching von Wissenschaftler/innen bedeutet bzw. welche methodischen Ansätze bei der Bewältigung des Hochstaplersyndroms angewendet werden können. On the contrary, the qualifi cations of those who suffer from the impostor syndrome are authentic and legally acquired. Nevertheless, they feel they are not worthy of their certifi cates and are afraid their feeling of inferiority will be "exposed". After a summary of psychological fi ndings, it is explained by means of different aspects to what extent the impostor syndrome thrives at higher education institutions and why many (female) academics feel like impostors. Subsequently, the signifi cance of this syndrome in the fi eld of coaching (female) academics is made clear and suggestions of methods to be used in order to successfully cope with the impostor syndrome are given.
