Abstract:
The interaction of semiconductor water-soluble InP/ZnS-PEG-COOH quantum dots (QDs) with dibutyl phthalate (DBP) in fresh and sea water samples has been studied. It was found that an increase in the DBP concentration in a fresh water with QDs leads to an increase in the QD luminescence (PL) amplitude. The PL increase is caused by the DBP molecules localization in the QD Onsager cavity and the passivation of its surface. An increase in the ethanol concentration enhances the solubility of DBP and can serve … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based startup that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
