Abstract: In fixed-bed bioreactors, the influence of the oxygen content in the inlet air on the biodegradation of diesel fuel in unsaturated soillcompost mixtures was analyzed at 30 "C over a period of 7 weeks.Firstly, a wide range from 0 to 80 vol. % 0 2 was investigated. Subsequently, the range below 5 voL 9% 0 2 was examined more closely.
