Abstract: The information about the trading activities of these Jews is obtained from the letters preserved in Cairo Geniza. In fact, Geniza is a place where discarded writings on which the name of God was written and deposited in order to preserve them from desecration. Most of the papers of the Cairo Geniza were preserved in a room adjacent to the synagogue of Cairo.
