Abstract: Diagnostic fracture injection tests (DFIT) are conducted to estimate the magnitude of the minimum horizontal stress (tectonic) and characterize essential reservoir properties, such as reservoir permeability and actual reservoir pressure in conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
