Abstract: The paper draws on the key postulate of oneness (monism) and questions the objectivity, rationality and truthfulness of scientific inquiry in the social sciences. The study is theoretical by nature and follows the metascientific epistemic model of inquiry using a non-experimental conceptual historical inductive research design.
