Corporate social responsibility (CSR) facilitates increased innovation and enhanced reputation and business performance. Small and medium-sized enterprises are commonly acknowledged to be a driver of economic growth, so these firms’ CSR and the competitive advantages it generates are of great interest. This study examined whether corporate managers’ positive predisposition toward CSR initiatives explains their companies’ level of innovation, achieved performance, competitive success, and reputation. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze a sample of 109 companies operating in Spain’s Autonomous Community of Extremadura. The results confirm that companies generally have a favorable orientation toward CSR and this strategy’s benefits include developing and improving firms’ reputation.

As Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) are established using battery-powered nodes, the major concern to minimize the power consumption of the nodes is still a challenge while the lifetime of the network is taken into account. Thus, power-aware routing is the effective way to handle the situation that aims at minimizing the power consumption and network overhead in order to increase the network lifespan. Therefore, an effective power-aware secure routing protocol is designed using the proposed Fuzzy Krill Herd-based Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm (Fuzzy KH-GOA) such that the secure path is determined. Hence, it is evident that the routing path for transmitting the data packets is effectively decided using the proposed algorithm, which is based on the fitness parameters, such as fuzzy function, delay, distance, and power consumed by the path. The significance of this research relies on the link lifetime estimation for which the lifetime of the routes is detected in order to measure the link failure. The performance of the proposed Fuzzy KH-GOA reported the values of 23.858 J, 0.016 sec, 0.783, 0.840, and 10.908 sec, respectively in the absence of the attack and 22.624J, 22.624sec, 0.773, 0.812, and 9.862sec, respectively in the presence of attack for the measures, such as power, delay, Detection Rate (DR), throughput, and average Link Life Time.

Routing protocols are used to transmit the packets from the source to the destination node in mobile ad hoc networks. The intruders seek chance to pierce into the network and becomes a cause of malfunctioning in the network. These protocols are always prone to attacks. During the phases of routing in different types of protocols, each of the attack finds a way to degrade the performance of the routing protocols. The reactive routing protocols DSR and AODV have lot of similar features and so are consideredin this study. In order to transmit the packets safely, a secured approach using triple factor has been proposed. This triple factor computes the trust by using the direct information then verifies the reputation by collecting the information from the neighbouring nodes called distributed factor and uses cryptographic algorithm to ensure security. And to ensure that there are routes available to perform the routing process, the reasons for such attacks are studied so as to re-integrate back the nodes in to the network, once it has repented for being malicious before. The availability of routes increases the throughput.
