“…The characteristics of PVDF β-phase absorption bands observed at 604 cm −1 and 1249 cm −1 are the fingerprint of the β-phase of the PVDF 48 . The various absorption bands that appeared at 501 cm −1 , 1077 cm −1 , 1160 cm −1 , and 1388 cm −1 are the characteristic peaks of the absorption band of the α crystalline phase of PVDF 49 . The PVDF is a fluoro compound, and it has shown strong absorbance in that region, which was evident from the FTIR of the pristine PVDF (Fig.…”

“…3 A). Due to the –C–H's symmetric stretching, the absorption band was observed at 2887 cm −1 , whereas the asymmetric stretching was assigned to the absorption band at 2977 cm −1 49 . In the case of the PP 5 -containing membranes such as M-1 to M-3 , all the characteristic peaks of the PVDF membranes have been observed (Fig.…”

“…The peaks at 20.2° (110/200 reflection) and 36.3°, related with the β-phase crystal of PVDF, are shown in Figure S5. , The enhancement of the β content in the composite films with the MF copolymer, compared to that in the CNT/PVDF/HNBR mixture, implies that interactions of the MF copolymer with components in the composites influenced the PVDF crystal structure. Relatively higher β-phase contents in PVDF are known to be a factor that enhances the electrochemical performance of Li-ion batteries . MF copolymer-induced conformation tuning of PVDF may lead to the achievement of an optimized CNT/PVDF/HNBR structure application to Li-ion batteries.…”

“…Different crystalline phases of PVDF could also be determined using the FT-IR technique. Peaks around 480, 532, 760, 795, 1149, 1209, and 1423 cm −1 could be assigned to α-phase, while peaks attributed to β-phase appeared at 473, 840, and 1266 cm −1 [ 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 ]. BaTiO 3 was characterized by two main absorption peaks, one at around 492 cm −1 , which was attributed to Ti–O vibrations, and the other at 1440 cm −1, related to Ba–Ti–O stretching vibrations [ 29 ].…”
