Implicações da educação permanente no processo de trabalho em saúde

Abstract

A criação da Política Nacional de Educação Permanente em Saúde (PNEPS) amplia a possibilidade dos trabalhadores de incrementar melhorias nas intervenções realizadas na comunidade, como também na equipe de trabalho. O objetivo do estudo é investigar entre as atividades dos trabalhadores da saúde aquelas relacionadas à PNEPS se as atividades desenvolvidas têm relação com as ações da Educação Permanente em Saúde (EPS) e se os trabalhadores de saúde relacionam suas atividades com a política de EPS. Trata-se de um estudo de cunho qualitativo, envolvendo 113 trabalhadores da saúde dos 13 municípios pertencentes à 13ª Coordenadoria Regional de Saúde - RS. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se um questionário que permitiu a expressão livre sobre os temas abordados. O método de análise utilizado foi a análise de conteúdo, em que emergiram quatro categorias: atividades de EPS desenvolvidas pelos trabalhadores, EPS como estratégia facilitadora do processo de trabalho, dificuldades no cotidiano dos trabalhadores e sua relação com a necessidade de EPS e EPS como proposta de aprimoramento do processo de trabalho. Constatou-se, que os trabalhadores não identificam ações de EPS nas suas atividades diárias voltadas principalmente à especificidade profissional. As capacitações foram citadas como fator facilitador para o processo de trabalho e a falta destas, como dificultador. Conclui-se que há lacunas importantes na implantação dessa política, principalmente com a utilização de metodologias diferenciadas, visando à integralidade, respeitando as necessidades de trabalhadores, permitindo-lhes autonomia, imprescindível para melhorar a atuação na Atenção Básica de Saúde.
