Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the development of burnout syndrome in frontline physicians: prevalence and associated factors

“…O distúrbio emocional resultante de situações de trabalho desgastantes e que envolve nervosismo, sofrimentos psicológicos e problemas físicos é chamado de Síndrome de Burnout (Brasil, 2021). Além de gerar impacto aos profissionais de saúde, esse distúrbio pode comprometer o atendimento aos pacientes, sendo necessárias medidas de apoio à saúde física e mental desses profissionais (Faria et al, 2021).
