Impact of nanoparticle surface modification on the mechanical properties of polystyrene-based nanocomposites

Abstract: A two-step modification strategy is applied to tailor the particle–matrix interface in zirconia nanoparticle–polystyrene composites, achieving strongly enhanced mechanical properties.
