Abstract:The recent classification of pediatric thrombotic microangiopathies (TMA) takes into consideration mechanisms of disease for guidance to targeted therapies. We present our experience with seven patients with antibody mediated atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP).
