Abstract

The new mode for telling stories that radically changed the manner of “making sense” of the social world opened up exciting vistas for the narrative experience. The invention of the camera had already altered the dimensions of human perception; the rapid innovations with the technological apparatus of cinema made available an ingenious medium of expression for narrativizing the world.
