Abstract:We explore the viability of detecting a leptophilic scalar dark matter at the ILC in a model-independent way. We present the constraints on the couplings of scalar dark matter with the standard model fermions ensuing from the relic density bounds deduced from the 2018 Planck data. We, then, present the reach of the ILC in terms of Λ, the scale of the effective theory, by performing a detailed analysis for the Z associated DM pair production (i.e., e + e − → 2 jets + E T , e + e − → µ + µ − + E T and e + e − → … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
