Abstract: Although tobramycin increases lung function in people with cystic fibrosis (pwCF), the density ofPseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa)in the lungs is only modestly reduced by tobramycin; hence, the mechanism whereby tobramycin improves lung function is not completely understood.
