Abstract: Pityriasis versicolor is a disease caused by Malassezia furfur. One of the plants that can potentially act as antifungal is cacao leaves (Theobroma cacao L.), which contain several secondary metabolite compounds, including alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, quinones, terpenoids, and saponins.
