HyperPUT: generating synthetic faulty programs to challenge bug-finding tools

Abstract: As research in automatically detecting bugs grows and produces new techniques, having suitable collections of programs with known bugs becomes crucial to reliably and meaningfully compare the effectiveness of these techniques.
