Hyperleptinemia, Adiposity, and Risk of Metabolic Syndrome in Older Adults

Abstract: Background. Abdominal adiposity and serum leptin increase with age as does risk of metabolic syndrome. This study investigates the prospective association between leptin and metabolic syndrome risk in relation to adiposity and cytokines. Methods.
