Abstract: Homologous artificial insemination (AIH) is used to treat infertility caused by oligoasthenospermia, despite the lack of controlled studies confirming its benefit. This prospective randomized controlled trial was undertaken to determine whether intracervical (IC-AIH) or intrauterine (IU-AIH) homologous artificial insemination improves pregnancy rates in couples with infertility attributable to oligoasthenospermia alone.
