Abstract: In the year 2000, Ted Freedman, former president and CEO of Toronto Mount Sinai Hospital and a founding member of the Healthcare Quarterly editorial advisory board, was the surprised honoree of an annual award launched by the journal in cooperation with Agilent Technologies.
