“…Prestack Kirchhoff time migration is characteried by better suitability for velocity model, stable and targetoriented computation [1∼4] , which is the routine procedure of seismic data processing currently. Particularly for the mountainous regions of western China, where geological structure is quite complicated, surface elevation varies violently, and the imaging computation depends mainly on prestack time migration [5] . The theory of prestack Kirchhoff time migration supposed that the shots and receivers are situated at the same plane, but the acquisition of real seismic data is often made on an irregular surface; to meet the demands of migration treatment, the static correction technique based on vertical ray path can be used to put all shots and receiver points of seismic data into an united plane and then conduct the routine treatment.…”
