Abstract: A novel high-frequency isolated grid-connected PV inverter based on sinusoidal pulse width position modulation (SPWPM) is studied. It is suitable for household PV utility with advantages of light weight, small volume and high efficiency. The working principle is analyzed in details and a close loop control strategy is designed.
