“…Biggs (1956) confirmed the findings of Koller by demonstrating mutual correction between Christmas-disease serum and Dindevan serum in the thromboplastin-generation test, and, in addition, showed that the level of Christmas factor in the Dindevan sera used varied from 10 to 80 per cent of normal. Ackroyd (1956) and Naeye (1957) have also described deficiency of Christmas factor during Dindevan therapy. Ackroyd (1956), in a review of thirty-eight cases of Factor VII-like deficiencies, suggested 'concomitant deficiencies', and Greig and Tattersall (1956), who studied patients who had received normal dosage and overdosage of coumarin drugs, suggested that a further factor, in addition to Christmas factor and Factor VII, might be deficient.…”
