Hemolytic-Uremic Syndrome

Abstract

MD: Our program this morning deals with the hemolytic\x=req-\ uremic syndrome. Our panel will discuss several aspects of the problem. Dr. Ellin Lieberman will discuss the clinical features of a series of cases reviewed recently at the Childrens Hospital, I shall make a few remarks about the hematological abnormalities, Dr. Harry Wright will summarize the situation with respect to a possible viral etiology, and Dr. Eva Heuser will discuss findings from renal biopsy specimens and the autopsy findings in several fatal cases. Also, we are pleased to have Dr. Samuel I. Rapaport, from the Department of Medicine with us.
