Abstract: Monophenol oxidase (MPO) activity in hemocytes collected from Aedes aegypti Liverpool strain and Aedes trivittatus intrathoracically inoculated with saline alone, inoculated with Dirofilaria immitis microfilariae (mff), or from uninoculated mosquitoes was compared using a radiometric tyrosine hydroxylation assay.
