Heat and Mass Transfer Effects on MHD Flow Past an Inclined Porous Plate in the Presence of Chemical Reaction

Abstract: The impact of heat and mass transfer effects on an MHD flow past an inclined porous plate in the presence of a chemical reaction is investigated in this study. An effort has been made to explain the Soret effect and the influence of an angle of inclination on the flow field, in the presence of the heat source, chemical reaction and thermal radiation. The momentum, energy and concentration equations are derived as coupled second order partial differential equations. The model is non-dimensionalized and shown to… Show more

“…Chen 31 investigated how ohmic heating and viscous dissipation influenced the fluid’s momentum, heat, and mass transfer in MHD natural convection flow over a porous, slanted surface with variable wall temperature and concentration. The effects of heat and mass transfer on an MHD flow in the presence of a chemical reaction over a porous, inclined plate were investigated by Sandhya et al 32 Using free convection flow analysis, Noor et al 33 investigated how a heat source/sink effect and a radiating isothermal slanted plate influenced the thermophoresis and magnetism of the fluid. Systems involving unsteady free convection oscillation involve fluid motion due to the temperature and density difference between the fluid and its environment and the regular movement of a boundary or an external force.…”

“…The transfer of heat and mass MHD Casson past through rotating cone vertically with the convective conditions are studied by Vijaya and Ramana Reddy 16 . Sandhya et al 17 explored MHD Casson fluid flow along with the radiation and chemical reaction. Santoshi et al 18 recently explored the motion of non‐Newtonian liquid through a paraboloid revolution.…”
