Halothane‐Relaxant Anaesthesia in Elderly Patients

Abstract: Twenty-three elderly patients, scheduled for elective cholecystectomy, were studied during halothane-relaxant anaesthesia. Anaesthesia was induced with thiopentone and maintained with halothane in 12 patients, six of whom had also received premedication.
