Haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) in an adult following treatment with trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole

Abstract: Haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is an aggressive hyperinflammatory haematological condition often associated with malignancy, infection or rheumatological disorders. HLH has rarely been associated with medications, including antibiotics.
