Growth of Au Nanoparticles on 2D Metalloporphyrinic Metal‐Organic Framework Nanosheets Used as Biomimetic Catalysts for Cascade Reactions

Abstract: Inspired by the multiple functions of natural multienzyme systems, a new kind of hybrid nanosheet is designed and synthesized, i.e., ultrasmall Au nanoparticles (NPs) grown on 2D metalloporphyrinic metal-organic framework (MOF) nanosheets. Since 2D metalloporphyrinic MOF nanosheets can act as the peroxidase mimics and Au NPs can serve as artificial glucose oxidase, the hybrid nanosheets are used to mimic the natural enzymes and catalyze the cascade reactions. Furthermore, the synthesized hybrid nanosheets are … Show more

“…In this new 2D ZnTCPP SURMOF, [38][39][40] the paddle-wheel Zn 2 (COO) 4 metal nodes are connected by the tetratopic TCPP ligands, forming layers which are stacked perpendicular to the substrate in an AB packing fashion (Figure 1c,d). Note, that in this structure the PW units are located directly above the center of the macrocycles of the previous layer ( Figure 1c and Figure S1, Supporting Information).…”

“…[213] Especially, previously reported LD MOF-based composites normally exhibited enhanced performances, which are arised from the successful combination of advantages of both LD MOFs and other functional materials. [214] To date, a variety of rationally designed LD MOF-based composites, such as MIL-88 rod@ZIF-8 composite, [215] Fe-MOF NP/ Ni-MOF nanosheet composite, [216] and Au NP/Cu-TCPP(Fe) nanosheet composite, [59] have been prepared via various methods, such as in-situ reduction method, epitaxial growth method, etc. [214] To date, a variety of rationally designed LD MOF-based composites, such as MIL-88 rod@ZIF-8 composite, [215] Fe-MOF NP/ Ni-MOF nanosheet composite, [216] and Au NP/Cu-TCPP(Fe) nanosheet composite, [59] have been prepared via various methods, such as in-situ reduction method, epitaxial growth method, etc.…”
