Green synthesis of SeNPs using Sonchus maritimus based nanosized metal oxides for in vitro biological applications and in vivo acute toxicity evaluation
Abstract:This investigation aimed to characterize the green synthesized selenium nanoparticles using Sonchus maritimus L. extract and evaluate their antioxidant and antibacterial properties. Moreover, acute toxicity of nanoparticles was performed in Wistar rats. The synthesis of SeNPs was confirmed by Ultraviolet-visible, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis. Antioxidant activities of S. maritimus and SmE-SeNPs were determined by DPPH and FRAP assays… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
